  1. Primary lesion - Chagoma, swelling of bite (Romana’s sign if on face, eyelids, conjunctiva)
  2. Acute stage - 7-14 days after infection with increased exhaustion, chills fever, dyspnea, joint pain, and acute myocarditis
  3. Chronic stage - abnormal hollow organs (heart - disturbed conduction) and colon (decreased peristalsis)
