Milgram procedure
All ps were:
‘Randomly’ selected as teacher by man in grey lab coat (it wasn’t random)
Shocks were said to be “painful but not harmful”
Learner reported a heart condition
Were shocked to show them what it felt like
We’re told to shock the ‘learner’ if got an answer wrong
At 15v which increased by 15v each time
