How would you identify the malleus

A

The malleus has a round head and a diagonal projecting point known as the handle

How would you side the malleus

A

Most of the time they are directly taken from their side but if not, lay the bone down with the head away from you and the facet up the process on top of the handle points towards its side the the bottom of the handle is opposite

A

This is the mini pubis looking one, squarer body with inferior projection

A

Most of the time they are directly taken from their side but if not, hold the bone with the facet towards you and the longest point facing down. the long process bends towards its side at the top and again at the very bottom point
