2 or more episodes of verigo between 20 mins and 12 hours
audiogrram of Menieres disease
low frequency SNHL of 30DB at 2 continous frequencies
investigations for Menieres disease 3
history
audiogram
MRI (should appear normal)
treatment for Menieres disease 1
prochlorperazine (Buccasteam)
-short term vestibular sedative
prophylaxis for Menieres disease 3
betahistine
-installation of gentamicin via grommets
-chemical labyrinthectomy via round window absoprtion from middle ear spaces
