what is somatisation ?
patient experiences physiological distress in the form of multiple physical symptoms

IBS

what is the common presentation of somatoform disorder ?
gastrointestinal symptoms and abdominal pain, fatigue, weakness and musculoskeletal symptoms.
what is hypochondriasis ?
persistent preoccupation with the possibility of a serious physical disorder

carers fabricates illness symptoms in a child or a vulnerable adult
what is malingering ?
faking illness where the subject is conscious that they are creating their symptoms with a motive

patient is aware of their motive in malingering but not in factitious
