Why is it important to check a distos accuracy prior to use?
A
- To ensure precision in measurements

What conditions may affect the accuracy of a disto and how?
A
- Area of wall being measured to if reflective
- weather such as cold conditions
- strong light (requires natural sunlight)
- uneven surfaces
- dust and humidity may effect the infra red light and accuracy may be affected over long distances.

How would you decide on the measurement method to use?
A
I would ask what is the purpose of the measurement exercise?
