Rational Number
They are terminating decimals (eg. 1.5, 1.59, 1.09, 1.0) or recurring decimals that have a consistent pattern (eg. 6.3333…)
Rule For Rounding To A Certain Decimal Place
If the number right of it is below 5 it stays the same, if the number right of it is 5 or above it goes up by 1. If a 9 has a number that is above 4 next to it, the pre decimal number will go up by one and the decimal place will be 0.
