Able to pass through a screen with mesh no larger than 25mm
What must ships of 12+ metres length display for crew and passengers?
Placards written in the working language and placed in prominent places

- Outside special areas: Atleast 3nm from the nearest land and enroute
- Within special areas and arctic waters: Atleast 12nm from the nearest land and enroute
- Inside offshore installation 500m zone
Where can non comminuted and ground food waste be discharged?
Only when outside special areas and Arctic waters proceeding en route and at least 12nm from the nearest land
