what are interstitial fluids?
A
fluid that surrounds the cell. (extracellular fluid)

What is the purpose of the lymphatic system?
A
it circulates the the interstitial fluid. it returns proteins that leak out to the blood stream;
It microorganism that invade blood tissue goes to the lymph nodes to be killed by lymphocytes and macrophages

What is the flow of lymph?
A
It enters by osmotic pressure. into lymph capillaries. It is carried to lymph nodes. then to the thoracic duct then to one of the vena cava into the right atrium

lacteals
