Q

what does the lymphatic system do

A
  • filters pathogens
  • facilitates the transport of wbc’s
  • collects excess fluid from tissues and returns it to the circulatory system.
  • absorbs fats and fat soluble nutrients through lymphatic vessels in the digestive systems.
  • lowers blood pressure - blood enters the system at high blood pressure and leaves with low.
