When LVP is enforced what can you assume?
Airports lighting, special procedures, and electrical requirements, ILS area is protected and it’s safe to conduct Cat 2 or Cat 3 app (OMA 8.4.3)
Capt must ensure the LVP are enforced conducting
Cat 2/3 app (OMA 8.4.3)
No instrument app or landing can be conducted with Visibility less than
800 m
unless RVR is reported
What extra steps must be carried out for low visibility Tof with RVR less than 400 M
- Cat 2/3 holding point only crossed with ATC
- Sufficient vis guidance from Rwy light + markings to allow directional control during TOF and RTO
- Center-line (confirm on ctr line b4 TOF)
- ATM is allowed if no contamination

What are considerations or what needs to be done for low vis Taxi ?
- Sterile FD
- Familiar wt: Cat 2/3 Holding points 4 TOF, taxi rte, centerline taxiway lighting (reduce spacing)
- 10kts + taxi rte
- FO use taxi charts, and monitor GS, HDG, give rally nav style info
- Stop + PB on for C/L, CLr, or actions (Flt ctr Check)
- Use all lights unless restricted vis
- Don’t Violate Cat2/3 Holding points, RWy Sensitive areas.
- Double check RWY HDG when lining up, Ensure on ctr line, (can use ILS loc or RWY Markings
