Eng can only be started with Autostart
EEC controls Fuel and ignition
The sequence started by Start selector to start and FCS (switch) to run
What do the EEC do?
Open eng fuel valve and energizes the igniter at a specific N2 RPM
Wt is the meaning of Eng Autostart?
EEC aborted autostart for:
Lost of both starters
no N1 rotation
No oil pressure
No correctable: Hung start or compressor stall
On grd and Flighthow many start attempts by autostart?
3 on grd
unlimited in flight
What happens when Autostart occur?
Fuel and ignition –> Shut off
Eng motored to clear residual fuel
Eng Autostart c/l can only occur
on the grd,
in the air it corrects but never aborts
