A
Non sedating antihistamine
Blocks peripheral histamine receptors reducing itching and redness

A
Minor allergic reactions to skin
Prominent itch from anaphylaxis if all systemic signs have been resolved.

A
Known severe allergy
Aged less than 1 year

A
Pregnancy - should usually be withheld
May be administered when breast feeding

10mg for persons over 12 years (1 tablet)
5mg for child 1 to 11 years (1/2 tablet)
