A
Increases the blood glucose level by stimulating glycogenolysis within the liver

A
Hypoglycaemia when the patient cannot swallow glucose/food and IV access cannot be obtained

Known severe allergy

A
1mg IM for persons aged 5 years and over.
0.5mg for a child aged less than 5 years
DO NOT REPEAT THE IM DOSE
