A

Web - Okay but need to have different account to set page access settings or different roles
App - It is possible but not recommend.

As exception, some van sales field staff are using one account when multiple persons are always together. It may be good because you want to manage single sub-inventory in team but please note that activities cannot be separated.

A

Yes but it may be difficult to read because some pages of SENRI is not designed to be displayed on mobile devices.

A

No, you cannotaudit the changes made in the setting. You can only check login history from usage history

1033 Why is buying company phone recommended?

A

We recommend company phones, due to avoid some inconvenience below.

Reason1: SENRI has some requirements
SENRI requires android version of 5.0* at least and recommends above 8- ROM 16GB above RAM 4GB above
- Android OS usually requires 10% HDD availability to sync data, so if Field Staff uses private phone, HDD could be full with their private photo or video.
- Run with google play services
*Minimum requirement will be increased in the following schedule;At end of Jun 2022: Requires 6.0.0 and above

Reason2: Further restrictions are possible
- In case you want to control device like force GPS always on or restrict usage of mobile data bundle to SENRI, MDM is required.

Reason3: GPS accuracy
- GPS accuracy is not very good with some phones. It is usually depending on device and brands and we usually recommend Samsung phones.
- Here is data based on SENRI’s actual GPS informationof 300,000 and it indicates that TECNO phone (2.4%) has 6 times of GPS information with more than 1km inaccuracy than Samsung phone (0.4%).

1034 What is the requirement of mobile phone?

  • Android 6.0* above at least but above 8 is recommended
  • ROM 16GB above
  • RAM 4GB above
  • Run with google play services
  • Huawei phone won’t be recommended because google play services may not run
  • Samsung phone is recommended in terms of GPS accuracy

Even if a device does not meet these requirements, it does not mean that apps cannot be installed or data cannot be synchronized. But if you are using many other apps, it is easy to have your apps killed, or your HDD capacity fills up quickly and you cannot refresh the app.

1035 Why does not SENRI have iOS version?

  • Majority of users in Asia and Africa still use Android OS.
  • From perspectives of development, making iOS version is not something like copy and paste of source code. We need millions$ to invest for creating from scratch.

1102 Why isn’t SENRI on play store?

A

If SENRI is on play store, it requires assessment and examination every time new version of SENRI is released. As a result, it is difficult for us to do urgent release when there are technical bugs. On the other hand, there are a few benefits to be open at play store for service like SENRI i.e. the app distributed to only contracted users.

1134 Can SENRI be customized for each customers?

A
  1. You need to explain SENRI has many settings for each functions so that it can fit to client’s operation.
    When you hear the word of “customization”, you may remind of something requiring development. However from the eyes of manager, need of development does not matter for them and what they want is if SENRI can fit with their operation and change in tier name or additional questions of customer may be customization from its perspective.
  2. We have engineer team in Japan and basically open for development. When it’s critical, we usually develop in 3-4months after we have got request.

1219 How much is the internet data consumption in SENRI on app?

A

It is 350MB at maximum and 100MB at minimum.
Submitting photos are likely to increase data consumption but 350MB is expected as maximum.

1258 What should I do if I have problem logging in to SENRI web??

A

If web user cannot login to SENRI web, here are possible reasons

The company associated with the user’s account has been deleted. Please check if the company is active in Company list.
The user’s account has been deleted. Please check the user list.
The user is registered as Staff. Please check the user list.
The password is incorrect. Please change it from the user list.
Two-factor authentication (2FA) is required, but it has not been set up. Please check the user list for the 2FA settings.
Super User is not assigned to login user. Please go to the Super Company List and link the Super User with the login user.

1318 Grant SENRI customer support login access to your account

A

When reaching out to SENRI Customer Support for assistance, there might be instances where they require access to your account for further investigation. However, there’s no need for you to disclose your login credentials. Instead, you can provide them with login access, enabling them to address your questions, concerns, or requests effectively.
Once you grant them login access, SENRI Customer Support team has the ability to view and edit everything in your account for the duration you set. You can check their login history in usage history of Admin Console and also change the access duration at anytime, extending or terminating it according to your needs.

Settings: Admin Console > User Settings > 3 dot menu > Grant Login Access
*It will take 2-3 business days for the settings will be applied for Customer Support to login to your account.

Note:
Only web user can grant login access and is accessible to only his own settings.
If super user account grant login access, login access to all associated companies will be granted.

1330 Why is login session expired?

A

If a network error continues to occur for 3 days, the app will be logged out as a session timeout when a network error occurs in the app sync.

Example:
1. Network error occurs every day on 1st to 3rd January, the app will be logged out if network error occurs again on 4th January, while the app will not be logged out if the sync successfuly completed on 4th.
2. Network error occurs on 1st of January and keep offline for 1 week, the app will be logged if network error occurs when it connects to internet again
3. Network error on 1st January and keep offline for a week, the app will not be logged out if the app doesn’t have network error and successfully sync data when it connects to internet again

If you log in again after logged out, un-uploaded data will remain. However, the data will be lost if you clear data.

1335 What to do when 2FA code is not working.

A

You can try the following steps:
1. Expired Code Authentication codes expire every 30 seconds.
Double-check that you’re using the most recent code.

  1. Incorrect Code Format:
    Ensure there are no spaces in the six-digit code.
  2. Verify Unique Account Setup:
    Make sure you only have one account set up for 2FA. If you’ve accidentally set it up multiple times, you might be entering the code from the wrong instance in your Authenticator app. Remove any duplicate entries you find.
  3. Time Synchronization Issues:
    The authentication code is time-based and expires every 30 seconds. A slight difference between your phone’s time and the server’s time can lead to invalid codes. Ensure your phone’s date and time settings are accurate.

a. Automatic Settings:
Set your phone’s date and time to update automatically. This option is usually found in Settings > General > Date & Time (Android) or Settings > General > Date & Time (iPhone).

b. Manual Time Sync (Android and Google Authenticator app):
Within the Google Authenticator app itself, you can manually sync the time. Go to Settings > Time Correction for codes and tap “Sync now”.

  1. Sync Issues with Authenticator Extension:
    If using an extension for Google Chrome, sync the clock as per its settings.
  2. Multiple Enrollment Attempts:
    If you open the 2FA enrollment page in multiple browser windows simultaneously and use the QR code or secret key from the first window, it won’t work. Only the QR code and key from the last opened page are valid. If this happens, delete the old account and add a new one using the latest QR code or key.
  3. Try using secret window or other browser:
    Trying a secret window or using a different browser can sometimes resolve the problem. This helps to isolate any potential conflicts or issues with your current browser session.
