A

Friends (or peers) can have a good/ bad influence on you. It happens when people want to be loved and accepted by others. It’s easier to be swayed to do things you wouldn’t normally do in a crowd. Some people think: if everyone else is doing it, why shouldn’t I?

  2. A man is known by the company he keeps (other people you will think you are the same as them)
  3. False friends are worse than open enemies (if friends pressure you, they are not allowing you to live by your values. These are false friends and not worth keeping)
  4. Friends always show their love (a good friend will inspire you to do the right thing)
  5. Just say no. (Every time you say no you will get the courage to say no again next time.

  4. Don’t bully back. Violence is not the answer
  5. You can also call Childline S.A. So that you can speak to someone anonymously. They will listen to any children who are bullied or are bullying others.

some schools have a peer support system we’re older children are trained to help younger children deal with bullying
you could also be a friend to the person being bullied or mediator in the situation
if you witness bullying, reported to an adult your trust such as a parent or teacher. If you are worried about doing this, then write a anonymous note to the adults to make them aware of the situation

Boy: circumcised at home eight days after birth. ceremony attended by all male family members. godfather holds boy while trained rabbi or mohel ( doctor ) preforms circumcision. Boy is then named and the family celebrate and drinks wine

Father parts hair of mother and pours vermilion ( a red colouring ) in her parting

Name giving samskara :

Takes place when baby is 11 to 12 days old
Mum and baby given a ritual bath
Mum dresses baby and puts a beauty mark with kohl on its cheek

Priest blesses piece of paper on which babies horoscope is written
Father whispers, chosen name into right ear of baby
