What is a LCA ?What are the 4 main stages in a LCA explain in detail?
look at each stage of life of product to workout environmental impact
choice of material-renewable/or not,metals mined/extracted from ore= lots of energy
manufacture-pollution,waste products and disposal ,recycled or not?,
product use-burning fossil fuels= gh g ,fertilisers
disposal-landfill,takes up space/pollute land/water
products might be incinerated=air pollution
What is meant by the term reversible reaction?
its where the products can react with each other to produce the original reactants
What is dynamic equilibrium?
where can dynamic equilibrium happen?
occurs when the forward and backward reactions in a reversible reaction occur at the same time and at the same rate so there is no change in the concentration of reactants or products
in a closed sytem-no reactants or products escape
What 3 things can change the position of equilibrium?
temperature,pressure and concentration (of r & p)
