- There were huge social and religious changes leading to changes in nature of crimes against person , property and authority

A
Increase of population and decline of feudalism which meant higher unemployment which also meant that more people moved to urban areas in search of work so towns and cities grew
- increase in crime against person because increase of street criminals and petty thieves

A
Because the country would change religions from Catholicism to protestants depending on the monarch

A
- in 1383 and punishable by being burnt at the stake

Treason and Heresy timeline
A
- Henry VIII executed protestants for heresy throughout his reign and Catholics for treason if they did not swear an oath of supremacy and accept Henry as Head of church of England
-Edward also executed leaders of rebellion for treason and two Catholics for heresy - Mary I , Elizabeth and James I executed many as well including rebels and plotters
