  • In Sheffield and UK, landfill was the reffered method of waste disposal up until the 1980’s. In Sheffield all permanent landfill sites are now closed due to large environmental issues
  • Parkwood Springs, millions of tonnes of household and light industrial waste were dumped at Parkwood Springs- Sheffield City Council is spending more than £500,000 to repair the environmental damages
