  1. You’re trying to IMPRESS ME - You want something from me, e.g. buy your service so marketing will brag about being the best in something
  2. You are THREATENED BY ME - It’s your compensation mechanism due to an insecurity
  3. I am THREATENED BY YOU - You’re just telling me facts but due to my insecuties I am projecting either ghost (based on my past) or mirror (what I am currently feeling) on you.

A

We have been programmed to be insecure about food availability. Now its insecurity about money stability - can be gone any time. So we hold onto it (become stiny) or overspend it (bragging). All comes from inner inseecurity of wanting love, recognition, power, stability.

Mal bhevaiour could be
1. Bad habits
2. Other problematic ones like jealousy, substance abuse, Agression/bullying

Solution - Understanding that these are COMPENSATION MECHANISMS that need to be addressed by
1. Recognizing and understanding them
2. Doing the work to get to the root cause
3. Fix it - Fight harder, try alternatives, cut losses and get social support
4. Forming new habits using neuroplasticity rules (LMNOP)

How do you address bad thoughts in clients that come from fear or a percieved threat that is not real?

  1. Dont judge it - it is real for your client, you stay in sys 2
  2. Make cleint aware of it - its prob coming from a projection or limiting beliefs - its not real
  3. Do the work - find the root cause
  4. If its a projection issue - explain the ego, make client see that its not just about her and help her let go
  5. If its about Limiting belief then reframe it

Hynosis or guided meditation to relive the past memory and replace with a new healthy one
