Posterior cord
What does the axillary nerve supply?
The delts (deltoid)
What muscles do the musculocutaneous nerves supply?
All the muscles of the front of the arm
What muscles does the ulnar nerve supply?
Medial side of the front of the forearm and hand muscles, but not thumb
What muscles does the medial nerve supply?
Front of forearm, thumb muscles
What does the radial nerve supply?
Muscles of the arm and back
What cord do both subscapular nerves arise from?
Posterior cord
What does a motor deficit of the radial nerve lead to?
Wrist drop
What does motor deficit of the median nerve lead to?
Ape hand (unable to grasp objects)
What does motor deficit of the ulnar nerve lead to?
Claw hand (unable to spread fingers)
