Salbutamol 100mcg/puff MDI with spacer 4-8 puffs q15-20 minutes x 3 OR

Salbutamol 5mg/ml nebulizer 5mg q15-20 minutes x 3

Question 2

Add on a SAMA dosing

ipratropium 20mcg/puff MDI with spacer 4-8 puffs q15-20 mins x 3 OR 250mcg/mL nebulizer 250-500mcg q15-20 minutes x 3

Add on a corticosteroid dosing

Prednisone 50mg PO x 1 dose stat then 5-10 days OR methylprednisolone 40-125mg IV x 1 dose

Add on mg sulfate dosing

Answer 4

Mg sulfate 2g IV once over 20 minutes, monitor for blood pressure. used in severe asthma cases.
