What are important things to remember when taking a history (8)
- First impressions
- Listen to patient
- Appropriate for age, gender, culture
- Taken in an orderly manner
- May result in arriving at a PT diagnosis
- Focus the patient on relevant info
- Start with open ended questions and end with close ended questions
- Avoid leading the patient
