What is latent tb
A
Asymptomatic , non transmissible tb with normal radio

Ipt
A
Inh 9 months 5mg/kg od
15mg/kg twice/wk
6months -same dosage
Inh+rifapentine- for 3 months
Weekly
Inh 15mg/kg and rifapentine 300mg
Only rifampicin- 10mg/kg od for 4 months

Ipt in hiv
A
> 12months- no active disease 10mg/kg 6 months
Clhiv- who completed rx for tb should receive extra 6 months inh
300mg 6 months + 50 Pyridoxine
12 months- 10mg/kg + 25

A
People at art centre
4 symptoms
Fever , cough, wt loss, night sweats
In children - contact of tb
