Q

what is brocas area?

A

Broca’s area(left frontal lobe) – speech production. As the motor region of language, it coordinates movement of the lips, tongue and vocal cords so that speech is possible. The use of grammar is also affected by Broca’s area. People with damage to Broca’s area (Broca’s aphasia) have difficulty getting words out, may stutter, and not construct grammatically complete spoken sentences.
