How is the gear held up?
A
With a single “mechanical” uplock

How is the gear held down?
A
Internal down-locks in the actuators
does not require trapped hydraulic pressure, overcenter links or springs

What triggers the gear audible alert system?
A
1.) Any gear not down and locked when either throttle is below 85% N2 position and the airspeed is below 130 kts. This alert can be silenced by pressing the gear silence button.
2.) Any gear not down and locked when flaps are beyond 15 degrees approach setting (msw @+/- 20 degrees). This alert CANNOT be silenced.

What are all of the squat switches and what do they do?
Landing Gear
A
- GENERATOR Cross-start disabled in the air
- LANDING Gear Lever-Lock solenoid
- EMERGENCY Pressurization disabled on the ground
- ATTENUATOR Inhibited in flight (also right main)
- BOTH Outflow Valves open on the ground
- ANTISKID components disabled in flight, however, integrity monitoring system is not
