I: by 4 tendons into 2-5 digits
A: extend MTP joints, assist in extending IP joints 2-5 digits, assist dorsiflex ankle & eversion foot
N: deep peroneal nerve

A

O: posterior gluteal line ilium, iliac crest, lower part of sacrum, side of coccyx
I: IT band & gluteal tuberosity
A: extends & laterally rotates hip, helps stabilize knee in extension
-lower fibers: assist ADD
-upper fibers: assist ABD
N: inferior gluteal nerve
