Range of Motion:
flexion= 150
extension= 0
forearm supination= 80
forearm pronation= 80
Medial Collateral Ligament Test: (AKA= Abduction Stress test OR Valgas Stress test)
pos. = Excessive gapping and pain
ind. = medial collateral ligament instability
Lateral Collateral Ligament Test: (AKA= Adduction Stress test OR Veras Stress test)
pos. = Excessive gapping and pain
ind. = lateral collateral ligament instability
Tinel Elbow Sign:
pos. = pain and/or tenderness at the site being tapped and parasthesia in the ulnar nerve distribution area (fingers 4 and 5)
ind. = neuroma of the ulnar nerve
Cozen Test:
pos. = pain over the lateral epicondyle
ind. = lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow)
Mills Test:
pos. = pain over the lateral epicondyle
ind. = lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow)
Golfer Elbow Test:
pos. = pain over the medial epicondyle
ind. = medial epicondylitis (golfer’s elbow)
Bony Palpation:
medial epicondyle groove of the ulnar nerve trochlea olecranon olecranon fossa
