What are the five main treatment options for ketosis?
A
- IV glucose - associated with a marked improvement
- Oral propylene glycol - glucose precursor to help support gluconeogenesis
- Corticosteroids - Dexamethasone - prolong hyperglycaemia
- Insulin
- Force feeding
