Because they believe that God is intangable and thererfore you can’t write the name God so they write it as G-d

He gave us laws that we need to follow lie the ten commandments at the covent at sini and the Mitzvot
How is God a judge?
God will judge everyone once they die
However God will always be forgivfull and merciful if he sees that you have been good to God

Whilst the Jews were traveling around looking for Cannan they had a tebernacle which was thought to be the house of God. This was kept in the middle of there camp whilst they were being guided by a “pillar of cloud”

God can’t sustain the damge that human’s do eg pollution and littering therefore we need to help God sustain the world

Orthodox jews would say that we need to live our lives to make God happy so they don’t limit us.
Reform Jews would say that God gives us the choice of which laws to floow and which to not follow

Jewish beliefes about heaven?
Once you go you got to a place called Gan Eden where you will be with God
It is unknown is this is a spiritual or phycical place as there are no clear teachings in the Tenak about this
What is sheol?
A waiting room for jews whilst there souls are cleansed.
This is where you go if you are judged unworthy to go to Gan Eden because Jews don’t believe in hell
