A joint is a place where two bones meet
Joints are important for movement and rotation

Allows the bones to rotate these are in the wrists & neck

Ball and socket joint
In a ball and socket joint, the rounded head of a long bone (the ball) fits into a cup shaped into a cupped shaped hole (the socket).

Hip
Shoulder
Condyloid joints
Similar to the ball and socket joint, but the ball rests against the end of a bone, rather than inside the socket . This allows circular motion.
