It is widely by Orthodox Jews believed that the dead will one day come back to life in their physical bodies
What is the Messianic Age?
When the Messiah, or anointed one. It is then that Orthodox Jews believe the dead will resurrect. God will judge all humankind.
What do Reform Jews believe?
Many believe in a spiritual, rather than physical life after death. Some even reject the idea of an afterlife and believe that death is the end.
What does the belief ‘Immortality of the soul’ involve?
The soul will live on after the body dies.

They will be able to exist in the paradise of olam ha-ba.

They will go to Gahenna where souls that have sinned can repent and be cleansed.
What does Reincarnation involve?
After death, a person’s soul will be reborn in another body.
Why would a Jew reincarnate?
If they did not fulfil the mitzvot in their previous life then they are given a second life and therefore a second opportunity to do so.
