What is risalah (prophethood)
The means of communication between Allah and humans
A prophet is a messenger of Allah to teach and guide people to follow him.
The messengers are humans so should not be worshiped
Each prophet is of even importance
The Qur’an makes it clear that the prophets have been sent at various times so that people can be brought back to follow Allahs will not
Who was Adam
Adam was the first man created by Allah in his own image and was the first prophet
Allah created Adam from dust and gave him knowledge and reason
Adam answered all the questions from the Allah and the angels bowed down to hum.
Allah gave them one rule - not to eat from one tree but they did. Allah gave them forgiveness but sent them out of heaven
Who was Ibrahim

Reheated polytheism
Through his descendants Isma’il he became known as the father of the Arab people
God tested his faith by telling him to sacrifice his son Isma’il but then provided a ram as an alternative
