- Inhalational
- Aerosol inhaler 20mcg/dose (+/- 200 doses in an inhaler)
- Nebuliser 250mcg/500mcg

Pharmacological Action
A
- Parasympathetic system innervates cholinergic neurons. Muscarinic receptors are present in glands, cardiac and smooth airway muscle.

Pharmacological Action Figures

- Onset of action: 30 minutes
- peak effect: 60-90 mins
- Duration of action: 4-6 hours
- Ipratropium Bromide + Beta2 better synergistic effect
- works better in asthmatic patients on beta blockers

Side effects
A
- dry mouth
- dry, flushed, hot skin
- mydriasis
- tachycardia/Arrhythmia
- Urine retention
