A

Notes:

FREQUENCY:

A

Give 4 doses total, spaced at age 2 months, 4 months, 6–18 months, 4–6 years.

Notes:

    • May give dose #1 as early as age 6 weeks.
    • The final dose should be given on or after the 4th birthday and at least 6 months from the previous dose.

Travelers to polio ‐ endemic countries:

    • Unvaccinated adult travelers follow primary schedule (4 doses)
    • Vaccinated adult travelers need single booster dose

Severe allergic reaction (e.g. anaphylaxis) after a previous dose or to a vaccine component including neomycin, streptomycin, and polymyxin B
