DFSB role in Investigations
To provide an independent and dedicated investigation capability able to respond at short notice to an ADF aircraft accident
What does ADF investigation require
What are the four classification levels
Aviation safety occur
Any occurrence which adversely affects or could adversely affect the safety or airworthiness of an aviation system, or safety of third parties
4 level
- Class A - DFSB to investigate
- Class B - investigator must be independent of the incident unit, eg DFSB
- Class C - investigation officer appointed
- Class D - possible investigation
