Individualistic culture (individual wants to succeed for themselves - less obedient)
Collectivist culture (individual wants to succeed for the group - more obedient)
What is authoritarian personality and how does it influence obedience?
Authoritarian personality - believe in authority and rules.
More likely to obey because they believe in rules so comply with the rules
What is locus of control and how does it influence obedience?
Internal - Believe you’re responsible for your own actions
External - Believe your actions are influenced by others
What is empathy and how does it influence obedience?
The ability to relate to others.
More empathetic = less obedient (if another is hurt).
