Alerts aircrews to avoid areas of adverse weather conditions.

Valid for maximum of 2 hours.

Eight times daily.

Low IFR: Ceiling less than 500ft, visibility less than 1sm.

IFR: Ceiling 500-1000ft, Visibility 1-3sm

Marginal VFR: Ceiling 1,000-3,000ft, Visibility 3-5sm
