Steps to perform ENALD?

A
  1. Engage HDG + IAS (65KIAS)
  2. DH 999
  3. Navigate - turn onto a terrain safe HDG with preferable winds
  4. Communicate - nature of emergency and intentions, IFF, request RADAR LSALT (if available)
  5. Descend 1000fpm until 1000ft
  6. Announce passing LSALT/MSA
  7. Announce 1000ft AGL
  8. RoD 500fpm by 500ft AGL
  9. Airspeed - reduce to 40KIAS
  10. Gate - 40KIAS, 200ft AGL, 200fpm
  11. Look for visual features
  12. When visual - disengage upper modes

Autorotation steps IMC?

A
  • Entry at 75KIAS
  • NFP - SHED BUS EMERG
  • NFP - engage HDG + IAS
  • MAY DAY x 3, IFF
  • Announce 300ft AGL - deselect upper modes
  • Announce 150ft AGL - progressive flare
  • 20-30KIAS set attitude to 10 deg NU to cushion

Icing procedure

A
  • Descend to a lower altitude, not below LSALT
  • Return to known conditions where icing was not encountered
  • Advise ATC (IFF)
  • Perform ENALD if cannot get visual and still in icing conditions
