Q

What does Romans 3:25-26 means?

A

God didn’t punish past sins b4 JC’s crucifixion because He wanted to demonstrate His righteousness. But if he accepted people w/o them paying for there crimes He wouldn’t be Just. Justice was fulfilled by punishing JC for our sins, and God showed his mercy because it wasn’t us (the debtors) who received the punishment but Jesus.

Jesus then was buried and rose from the grave on the third day. His sacrifice, death, burial and resurrection was all so we could **freely **be given the love and forgiveness of God. Now the vehicle to receive God’s love is to accept Jesus and His into our lives by faith.
