Familial
BL adrenal hyperplasia (mainly men)
Secondary- chronic low bp secrecting hogh levels of renin

Htn Hypokalemia Matabolic alkalosis Non specific symptoms Muscle weaknesses,nocturia,tetany,constipationarrhythmias

IIry- high aldosterone high renin

3.urinary Kc loss

Tx?
A
1.Adenoma sx removal
2.hyperplasia-
Aldosterone antagonist-spironolactone
Aldosterone receptor antagonist- eplerenone
