Clinically stable on admission and suspect DF/DHF
- temp 4 hourly
- FBC daily
- access vital signs
When plt count drop below 130,000
- temp 4 hourly
- vitals 4 hourly
- FBC twice
- HCT 6 hourly
When in the critical phase
- vitals hourly
- fluid balance chart 3 hourly
- HCT 3 hourly
Evidence of shock
- vitals every 15 mins
- HCT 2-3 hourly, immediately before and 15 mins after fluid bolus
