- OGTT- no supresses GH (diagnostic test)
- ^ Insulin like growth hormone (screening te#t)
- visual fields-bitemporal hemianopia
- MRI pitutary
- prolactin ^ in 30%

A
Tx for all except elderly and min abnormalities
1.sx- transphenoidal
2,pitutary radiotherapy
3.med tx- somatotrophin receptor agonist-octreotide
Dopamine agonist-act on D2 receptor (shrink tumor prior to sx)
GH receptor agonist
