Q

three circumstances that cause immune complex deposition?

A

1) persistent low grade infection

Q

four factors determining immune complex deposition

A
  • size - intermediate - most deposition
  • clearance - faster = less likely
  • antigenic change - (+) charge likely to deposit in kidney
  • anatomic/hemodynamic factors - i.e. vasculitis
