What do Christians think about men and women being equal in a family household?

Some Christians believe men and women should have different family roles, where the male is the leader/head of the family and his wife to follow him and support him.

Catholics believe wives and husbands should respect each other’s roles within a marriage and value both equally.

Others believe that men and women should be equal because they were made in the image of God and should share responsibilities and privileges.
