What is the grievance process?

A

Notify immediate supervisor within 10 business days. Verbally
Find solution at lowest possible level.
Two days to put it in writing after verbal meeting
Supervisor has 5 days to respond to written notice.
If not resolved 5 more days for employee to respond in writing.
Supervisor then has 2 days to send response included to department head, deputy City manager and HR director
Department head sets a meeting with 10
