A

Films are authored by individuals- they out their own signature on a. film as such; use similar styles and adopt to similar efforts; Michael curtiz- known fro his high and unusual angles exquisite angles

A

People went to see particular stars. MGM boasted that they had ore stars than in heaven
films were star led rather than director led. the stars behaviour was controlled
Bogart a famous actor represents a dominance in star and masculinity

A

breakdown of the studio system and the rise of the indepentn producer; ;ate 1940s stars started to challenge their contracts. people started moving away from heir theatre iyt of the cities t the suburbs and git televisions. declining until the 1980s
they introcduced subject matter and a new stylistx approach
