congress continued t print money lessening its value. then Britain flooded the market wit cheaper goods. merchants lost their jobs and lead to high unemployment
how did this depression lead to shays rebellion
it lead to the loss of farmer’s land. those that kept their land were threatened when Massachusetts increased taxes. Massachusetts ignored farmer’s pleas to lower taxes only inflated the issue. finally daniel shays and 1,200 men rebelled taking a federal arsenal
