where/what does the iliofemoral ligament go/do
A
- Origin: lower aspect of AIIS and acetabular rim
- Insertion: distal and superior aspect of intertrochanteric line
- Taut in: extension, lateral rotation, adduction

where/what does the pubofemoral ligament go/do
A
- Origin: iliopubic eminence
- Insertion: middle aspect of
intertrochanteric line - Taut in: extension, lateral rotation, abduction

where/what does the ischiofemoral ligament go/do
A
- Origin: ischium behind
acetabulum - Insertion: intertrochanteric line and superior neck of femur
- Taut in: extension, medial rotation, abduction

where/what does the acetabular labrum go/do
A
- Composed of fibrocartilage
- Attaches to the rim of the
acetabulum - Function is to deepen the socket part of the joint
