questions to ask for head lice?

have live lice been seen?
if not use wet or dry combing to check for lice
empty eggshells (nit)? if it is just nits then there is no need for treatment
presence of itching? itching is not always present in head lice. must inspect scalp for signs of dandruff, psoriasis, and seborrhoeic dermatitis.
